conferencing, digital signage, presentation and display. The DT3220 supports all video signals and computer sources, including high definition Component YPbPr input, DVI-HDCP and D-Sub. S-Video and Composite video inputs are also available. The EPT-4202AN big screen 42-inch offers high contrast ratio of 3000:1 and brightness of 1000 cd/m2.

The software integrates snapshot management, replication and disk-to-disk-to-tape (D2D2T) virtual library technologies into its backup and restore architecture. Storage managers will now be able to manage data protection between all storage layers, from primary disk to archive media.

Lincoln Beach Software‘s Black Hole Organizer version 3.0 is a free-form database utility that helps users store random notes and documents in one place, and allow them to be quickly retrieved when needed. It supports unlimited documents and categories, and documents can be moved from category to category using drag and drop. It also supports Internet URLs and e-mail addresses. Links can be launched from within the program. New features in this version include more formatting options, the ability to create tables, paragraph formatting, and the ability to export documents in either TXT, HTML or RTF formats.

For the photographer
The new Epson Stylus Photo R2400 (replacing the 2200 model) with Epson UltraChrome K3 inks, provide good printing options for photographers. According to Epson, the K3 pigment ink offers print permanence ratings that are suitable for gallery exhibits. The R2400 driver settings offer toning presets, separate controls for shadow and highlight tonality control, maximum optical density control, reduced gloss differential and custom tone control.
