Computers have come a long way in terms of intuitive interface in the last few years. No longer are we using peripherals like a mouse and keyboard to control our PCs, or a joystick and button-laden controller to control video game consoles.
Now, touch screens and gesture-controlled interfaces are becoming more common – just look at Apple’s iPad or Microsoft’s Kinect. But what if you could control your technology just by thinking? The notion seems like a futuristic vision, but a team at the Canadian Film Centre’s Media Labs has put together a demo based on a Brain Computer Interface. They plan to launch a startup that will sell entertainment products. See it for yourself:
