Avaya demos migration from Nortel phones to new IP Office

NEW YORK CITY — Avaya Inc. officially launched IP Office 7.0 earlier this week. The latest version of the company’s unified communications allows small and medium business end-users to migrate data from their legacy Nortel and Avaya phones onto the IP Office platform, which means huge potential cost savings for SMBs.

In this video, Alan Baratz, president of Avaya’s global communications solutions, demonstrates the product’s new capabilities and Bell Canada’s vice president of infrastructure services Cary Parsons comments on what the data migration tool means for Canadian businesses.
