Apple trounces Samsung in court

If the Apple-Samsung court trail was a hockey game it would remind people of the biggest lopsided contest: Detroit Red Wings blew out the New York Rangers 15-0 in 1944.

The California District Court jury awarded Apple $1 billion in damages for Samsung infringing on several of its patents on smartphones. However, the jury found that the Galaxy Tab did not infringe on Apple patents. Apple was seeking to prove that case in this trial.
