Meld Media brings dinosaurs to life with augmented reality [video]

Want to recreate Jurassic Park and bring dinosaurs back to life? Well, now there’s an app for that, thanks to Toronto-based digital production studio Meld Media.

You’ll need to go to the Royal Ontario Museum to interact with the prehistoric beasts. But once there, you’ll see the display-integrated tablets ready to use. Simply point them at the skeleton casts on display and watch as flesh is added to the bone, and the dinosaurs are animated. Check out the app in action in this video:
