Datto offering channel partners big prizes

Datto Inc., a developer of hardware based on-site and off-site backup, disaster recovery and business continuity products, has launched a SIRIS Success Story Contest, which gives channel partners the chance to share stories about a time when Datto’s SIRIS solution ‘saved the day’.

Bill Pisani, vice-president of marketing for Datto, said the SIRIS Success Story Contest provides a great forum for partners to share their SIRIS user experiences with Datto. Many partners have expressed that they have had great success using the product in a disaster scenario, so this gives them the perfect opportunity to share the story with their peers.

The contest kicks-off today and is open to any Datto partner that currently has SIRIS deployed in their office or at a client site.

The success story entry template is available for download on Datto’s Web site (www.dattobackup.com)and story submissions will be accepted through July 13, 2012.

After the submission date has passed, Datto will internally review and evaluate each success story entry and determine three finalists.

The finalists’ success stories will be published on Datto’s Web site July 23 through August 3, 2012, and the public can vote for their favorite story as frequently as once a day. The finalist with the most votes at the end of the voting period will be deemed the winner of the contest.

Datto is awarding prizes to chosen finalists.

• First place will have their success story published in the October issue of Business Solutions Magazine and will also win a Samsung 32” LCD TV.

• Second place will have their success story published and promoted on Business Solution Magazine’s Web site and will also win an Apple TV.

• Third place will have their story published and promoted on Business Solutions Magazine’s Web site.

In addition, all entrants that meet the minimum submission requirements (as outlined in the Official Rules) will receive one coupon code for $100 off a Datto Academy Training Seminar.
