Apple’s bittersweet 2011 saw innovation, controversy, loss

Steve Jobs’ death was the story of the tech industry in 2011. Apple stores became makeshift memorials and fans paid homage to the former Apple CEO and chairman.

Apple improved on its marquee products in 2011 with the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S, and continued to innovate with new services like the iCloud. But the year wasn’t controversy free either for the world’s largest technology company. Check out Apple’s 2011 year in review video here:
