Rackspace rolls out services unit to push OpenStack cloud deployments

Larry Dignan provides details about a new services unit from Rackspace called Cloud Builders, which will deploy the company’s OpenStack operating system.
“OpenStack is Rackspace’s effort to be a platform. Cloud Builders is the combination of Rackspace’s support and the services operations of Anso Labs, a services outfit. OpenStack was launched last year in conjunction with NASA. In October, OpenStack got Microsoft Hyper-V support. With the move, Rackspace will offer training, certification and deployment services.”

Obviously, the HP Omni Pro 110 trims down the computer set up by combining the tower and the monitor into a single, ‘uncluttered’ unit. (Features include): 20-inch HD anti-glare, widescreen display (1,600 x 900 resolution), Intel Pentium or Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Windows 7 Professional (32- or 64-bit), up to 1TB of hard drive space and more.”
