Smartphone Smorgasbord: a holiday guide

The launch of a new HSPA network — shared by Bell Canada and Telus Mobility — has shaken up Canada’s wireless landscape. The faster network is on par with Rogers’ network launched earlier this year. Suddenly, a bevy of new devices are available on the market, just in time for the holiday season.

New smartphones include sequels to past popular models, as well as completely new designs. There are also new options to stay connected to the Internet, while on the go. Take a look at the devices being offered up by Canada’s big three wireless carriers.

A new BlackBerry Bold, the sequel to the BlackBerry Storm, Apple’s iPhone 3GS and HTC’s Android-based Hero are bound to be popular items found under the tree this holiday season.
