Joaquim P. Menezes is the editor of ITBusiness.ca. He is responsible for the Web strategy and products of the IT Business Group, including its online content, e-newsletters, and special projects. Joaquim is an award-winning journalist, who over the past 15 years has worked for leading print, television and online media companies in Canada and overseas. He joined IT World Canada Inc. as assistant editor of CIO Government Review, subsequently taking over as editor of ITWorldCanada.com. Joaquim holds a BA degree in English Literature from the University of Bombay, and a diploma in business management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bombay.
Nestor E. Arellano is the senior writer of ITBusiness.ca. He is responsible for reporting on technology-related news, covering events, producing product reviews and compiling content for e-newsletter. Prior to working with ITWorldCanada Inc., Nestor reported on a wide-variety of topics including business, architecture, new technology, the defense industry and religion as a freelance writer for the Toronto Star and other Canadian publications. He began his career as a crime and politics reporter for several Manila-based daily newspapers. Nestor holds a BA degree in Journalism from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. During his spare time, Nestor likes to bike, play tennis or take photographs.
Brian Jackson is a staff writer for ITBusiness.ca. The team’s newcomer, Brian is responsible for writing stories, revising the newsletter lineup, and tracking traffic statistics. He also contributes as a video journalist, providing videography and video editing for the site’s original streaming video. Prior to joining the team, Brian worked as a freelance journalist. He co-produced a live science-themed Web cast series for a major Canadian broadcaster and spent two months in Rwanda on a volunteer stint at a daily newspaper as a writer and photographer. Brian graduated from Carleton University in 2006 with a double-major bachelor degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor adventure activities, reading and video gaming.
Joe Tersigni is the Vice President and Publisher of the It Business Group division of IT World Canada. In addition to It Business.ca, Joe is also responsible for both Computer Dealers.com, Direction Informatique.com and their respective print products. Joe also manages custom publishing and produces CDN’s Top 100 and the Channel Elite Awards events.
