Video: Identity theft in the Black Market

The Internet Black Market came to life in Toronto recently thanks to Symantec Canada (NASDAQ: SYMC).

The security vendor built a lifesize replica of hacker supermarket of sorts complete with tools kits for spreading malware, stolen identities and phony credit cards.

Janice Chaffin, president of Symantec Canada’s consumer business unit, put this black market on display at Toronto’s KoolHaus to raise awareness of the underground online economy of organized crime.

In this special video feature, Lynn Hargrove of Symantec Canada’s consumer products divisions gives a tour of the Internet Black Market.
