Call for Entries

The Channel Elite Awards recognize IT Solution Providers operating in the IT Channel in Canada. CDN invites Solution Providers to enter as many times as they like for achieving excellence in any of nine categories categories offered. Each entry must reflect business completed and invoiced during the 2010 calendar year. Solution Providers are encouraged to enter as many times as possible and the same projects can be entered in as many categories as applicable. This awards competition is open to all IT Solution Providers owned and operated in Canada.

Eligibility

1. For the purposes of these awards, the work entered must have been completed and invoiced in 2010 by the applying Solution Provider.
2. The solution must be based - in whole or in part - on a hardware or software product manufactured by another company.
3. A Solution Provider:
   a) is a reseller, IT VAR, e-tailer, systems integrator, IT consultant, IT cloud services provider, or independent software vendor;
   b) must hold at least one vendor certification or be authorized by a Canadian IT distributor to resell or make use of other company's product in creating the IT solution
4. The entrant may be a co-developer of a solution, but if so, must have taken the leadership role in the development and/or rollout of the solution.

Entry Submission

• All entries must be submitted electronically via the online submission tool.
• Entries with blank sections will be deemed ineligible.
• Each applicant will be asked to provide a contact list of executives from within the company and at the customer site for verification and follow-up as required.
• Please be as descriptive and complete as you can in explaining the solution.
• Applicants are encouraged to go into great detail about the work done by staff to assemble and implement the solution or services.
• Please do not submit marketing materials as an explanation of your company's solution unless appropriate for the Best Channel Marketing Initiative category.
