Just because you're using a hands-free device to talk doesn't mean there's no risk. Studies show talking on a phone while driving can be just as dangerous as drinking and driving. The Ontario Medical Association is pushing for completely prohibiting drivers' use of cell phones. Even mobile manufacturers and carriers advise that a driver should only make in-vehicle calls when the car is safely stopped and not on the road.

Keep in mind all distractions are dangerous while driving. Ideally, you shouldn't be eating, smoking or doing anything else but keeping your eyes on the road and hands at 10 and 2.
