Previously only possible with jailbroken iPhones, tethering is now available to all iPhone users. It turns your handheld into a wireless 3G modem.

Simply connect the iPhone to your laptop via Bluetooth or USB and then select the appropriate network connection – either "Bluetooth PAN" or "USB network service" to get online. But beware – any data usage counts towards your month’s total. So don't spend too much time on YouTube.
