Video: Microsoft partners don’t see an Impact from the economy

When Microsoft Canada (NASDAQ: MSFT) partners from across the country gathered in Toronto recently for the software vendor’s 2008 Impact awards, along with the celebration of achievement in the partner channel over the past year, the state of the economy wasn’t far from mind.

Any potential impact from the downturn doesn’t seem to have hit yet however, according to attendees. Envision IT‘s Peter Carson said his pipeline remains strong, while Microsoft Canada president Phil Sorgen sees opportunity for partners to grow their business in the current climate.
